Mr. Alfred D. Meeks age 74 of Tracy City passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012, at his home. He was a son of the late Mack Meeks and Maggie Smartt Meeks and was preceded in death by brothers, Jeff Meeks and John B. Meeks; sisters, Tressie Thomas, Lillie Sanders, Clara Layne, Ruth Hazel Moore and Thursa Sanders. Mr. Meeks was a retired carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Meeks of Tracy City; sisters, Josie Meeks, Mary Kilgore and Gabriel Sanders all of Tracy City; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Reverend Bobby Winton will officiate. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery. Visitation: 3-9 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Foster & Lay Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee
